My US citizen petitioner has never lived in Thailand — does the PCC still apply?
The PCC evidentiary rule attaches to the beneficiary, not the petitioner. If the Thai beneficiary is the one seeking the visa, only the beneficiary needs the Thai PCC.
What if the beneficiary has a prior Thai criminal record?
The PCC will disclose it. Under INA 212(a)(2) certain offences trigger inadmissibility; we route those files to our immigration counsel for a parallel waiver strategy before the interview.
Do we need a fresh PCC if the interview is postponed?
Only if the postponement pushes the interview past the 24-month validity window. We monitor the CEAC calendar and flag when a refresh is due.
