Does UKVI require an Apostille on the Thai PCC?
UKVI does not mandate an Apostille, but caseworkers reviewing borderline files often ask for one to authenticate the Royal Thai Police seal. We include the Apostille as standard to prevent a Section 322(2) refusal for insufficient evidence of authenticity.
How long is the Thai PCC valid at the UKVI decision date?
The Home Office treats the certificate as reliable for six months from issue. For applications routed through the Priority or Super Priority service we schedule the PCC request so the certificate arrives fresh in the same week the biometric appointment is booked.
Do dependants on the same application need separate PCCs?
