Is the K-1 fiancé petition really accepting Apostille now?
Yes for the Thai-side civil documents. USCIS still accepts the underlying Thai public documents on either the pre-accession chain or the new Apostille chain, and it will treat both as equivalent for I-129F evidentiary purposes.
My state DMV wants a driver's licence translation — do I need an Apostille?
State DMVs vary: California DMV accepts a certified translation without Apostille, Texas DPS requires the Apostille on the translator's notary jurat. We check the state-specific rule at intake.
Does a US state Bar admission office need the Apostille on my law degree?
Every US state that permits foreign LL.M. candidates to sit the Bar requires either an Apostille or a full consular legalisation. Post-accession the Apostille is the shorter route.
