How current must the consent letter be?
Airlines expect issuance within 6 months of travel; ABF has no fixed rule but treats stale consent (>12 months) as suspicious. We date-stamp so the freshness is unambiguous at the check-in counter.
Does the translation need the non-travelling parent's signature verified?
The NAATI translator certifies the translation, not the signature. Signature verification is a separate consular/notary step — we can pair this SKU with a MOFA legalisation add-on where the destination country requires apostille-adjacent proof.
What if only one parent has legal custody?
