Thai LINE chats — which mix Thai script, English, emoji, stickers, and voice-note transcripts — must be translated by a NAATI-credentialled translator and formatted so a case officer can read the exchange without losing conversational context.

How many months of chat should I submit?
DHA looks for continuity, not volume. Twelve months of representative chat (peak periods + quiet periods) beats three years of every message. We can help you curate a sampling plan before translation to keep the SKU proportionate.
Do you translate stickers and emoji?
We translate their communicative function, not their literal appearance. A crying-laughing emoji in a serious context is flagged as an irony marker; a heart sticker in a birthday context is flagged as affection — both go in a bracketed translator's note.
Can I redact messages that are private but not visa-relevant?
Yes. We accept a pre-redacted export, translate only the visible portions, and add a translator's note explaining that redactions are applicant-applied and not translator-applied. DHA accepts this format.
